Dr Akpevwoghene Claire Wiles

Executive Commitee Member

Akpevwoghene Claire Wiles is a clinical psychologist for the complex needs service (CNS) at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP).

CWP is an organisation that aims to help people to be the best they can be, adopting a compassionate, person-centred approach to everything it does. Within CWP, the complex needs service is a psychologically led, innovative, and specialist community service. Aligned with the NHS Long Term Plan, CNS aims to transform care and provide high quality and evidence based psychological interventions to those who may traditionally have been given a label of ‘personality disorder’ and may have previously “fallen through the gaps”.

Claire is passionate about studying and working with individuals who have complex emotional and relational needs. Her goal is to collaborate with systems to enhance the quality of care and services for all individuals, especially those from marginalized populations.
