Jorge is a consultant psychiatrist working at Springbank Ward in Cambridge. Springbank specialised in looking after people diagnosed with personality disorder who are at high risk of completed suicide and have not benefited from other services. Jorge has developed an interest in reducing restrictive practices, as a way of improving the therapeutic environment and the outcomes for our patients.

Springbank is the only unit of its kind in the NHS and receives referrals from all over the UK. Our positive outcomes have been documented in a recent BBC article.
