Out Of Area Report
Read our freely available report on the placement of people with personality disorder

BIGSPD is a complex organisation that seeks to share information about how to help and support people with a diagnosis of personality disorder or associated difficulties. This means we are often talking about people who have been harmed. This can be a painful and difficult area to discuss and we are often asked why we exist as an organisation, what is our function or purpose and what do we hope to achieve.
The short answer is that we try to live by the values of our organisation. So far we have struggled to articulate the complexity of the organisation in a succinct format that is easy to understand.
This thoughtful and reflective piece by co-presidents Oliver Dale and Julia Blazdell is an attempt to capture what BIGSPD is about as an organisation and an insight into our conferences.
