Mike Crawford is a Professor of Mental Health Research in the Centre for Psychiatry, Imperial College London.

His research interests lie in the development and evaluation of complex interventions for people who experience severe mental health conditions. He has published papers on the management of suicidal behaviour and complex emotional needs. Current projects include clinical trials psychological support for people with covid anxiety and low intensity treatments for people with a diagnosis of personality disorder.

He is also a Consultant Psychiatrist at Central and North West London Foundation Trust where he works in the acute care services and is clinical lead for the Complex Emotional Needs Pathway.
