We are inviting nominations for the BIGSPD Awards 2019. The BIGSPD Awards are slightly different this year. They recognise ‘qualities’, rather than individual roles. Importantly, they are open to any practitioner, researcher, administrator, service user or carer whose work is connected with the care of those affected by the difficulties associated with the diagnosis of ‘personality disorder’. They are also open to both individuals and to groups.
BIGSPD 2019 Awards:
- OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION: This award is to recognise an individual or group whose contribution is felt to go beyond what is an everyday expectation. This might be in recognition of a singular accomplishment or it might represent a longstanding or sustained dedication to their work.
- INNOVATION: This award is to recognise an individual or group whose work has either contributed to, or realised a development of, great significance. It may represent a particular contribution or it may recognise a lengthy commitment to the development and establishment of good practice.
- INSPIRATION: This award is to recognise an individual or group whose work has gone to challenge, inspire and instill hope in either services or the

Nominations will close on Friday, 23rd November 2018.
The final shortlist will be published by the BIGSPD Awards Committee on Wednesday, 5th December 2018.
Voting will be open on: Wednesday, 5th December 2018.

The Awards will be presented at BIGSPD 2019, 2nd-4th April 2019.
